The Guardian Angel Project began on August 28, 2003.  Five kids who were on probation for having been charged with a criminal act of one kind or another were paired up with positive role models from the community to make ceramic guardian angels to be delivered to sick children.  The Children's Hospital of Iowa agreed to be the host facility where these kids, along with their role models, could deliver these angels to sick children. For more information about the project click on the link above.
